Time is more than a measure; it is a profound force enmeshed with biology and technology, shaping the future and humanity's legacy. Illuminating themes through her work and philosophy, Amy Karle delves into the interplay between art, design, biology, emerging and exponential technology, and time, positioning them as vessels for expanding and transforming our collective future. She examines time as a continuum, reflecting on how emerging technologies—such as biotechnological advancements, AI, and data encoding—impact humanity, evolution, and life across eons. This session invites us to consider the transformative influence of technology on the human condition and to rethink time not as a fleeting measurement but as an expansive medium through which presence and purpose resonate far into the future.
